App Process

To have apps on student iPads:
  1. Find appropriate apps (use criteria and caution)
  2. Request apps via email (to Rita, Nancy, and Gail) use the subject line - App Request (and include the app name)
  3. In your email include:
    1. App Name
    2. App Store Link
    3. Current Price for each copy (retail)
    4. Educational Justification - how will your students use the app and what does it provide to them (practicing what skill(s), creating what sorts of evidence of learning/thought?
    5. Number of copies needed
  4. When notified you can select apps and install/push the apps to the student iPads.

This process applies to both paid and free apps. 

If there is an app which is temporarily free contact Rita IMMEDIATELY so the app can be "purchased". THEN submit the email request and justification. Once the approval process is completed, if the app is approved the app will be made available for assigning to student iPads, if the app is not approved the app will not be available even tough it has been "purchased".
