If your students will be using headphones you may want to limit how loud they can set the volume on their iPads...
On the iPad:
1. Open Settings
2. Tap "Music" (on the left side)
3. Turn on "sound check"
4. Tap "Volume Limit" move the slider to 60% or lower (according to experts)
5. Tap "general" (on the left side)
6. Tap "restrictions" (on the right side)
7. Tap "enable restrictions".
You will set up a passcode DO NOT FORGET THIS there is NO RESET!
5. Scroll down and tap "Volume Limit"
6. Check "Don't allow changes"
The Sound Check Option allows the iPad to play quieter sounds and louder sounds adjusted to about the same output level. This can be helpful.
At this point we do not know of a way to push these settings to all of the iPads, sorry.
